Back to the lsi's,Ive listen to them twice now (the 9's),I really did like them and have been considering tradeing my rti8's in on them.Only thing is they didnt seem to have as much punch on rock cd's.I do once in awhile throw in some ac/dc,kiss,or zepp, that being said the sales guy didnt crank them as much as I woulda like either.Anybody have a pair of the lsi9's want to elaberate on them?

Thanks Mike! That was me that wanted pics of the mighty RTi12s. I have been wondering, how do those babies sound on music without a sub, and a powerful enough amp to push them?:cool:Main Set-up: 55" 120 hz Samsung LN55B650, Onkyo TX-SR806, Emotiva XPA-5, Emotiva XPA-2, PS3 Slim, Sony BDP-S560, Apple TV (160g), Panamax M5300-PM, Polk Audio CSi5, RTi10's, FXi3's, RTi4's, and SVS PB12 Plus

I've got a Hafler DH-200 (100wpc) powering my RTi12's and they're sounding pretty damn good! Even w/out the sub hooked up - (much better w/sub of course) Nice tight & punchy bass. I just got my rig a couple of weeks ago so I'm still 'breaking them in'......HT & Music System:
Receiver - Denon AVR-3805
DVD/SACD Player - Denon DVD-2900
Outlaw 770 amp
Polk LSi 15's up front
Polk LSiC center
Polk LSi F/X surrounds
SVS 16-46 PC+ Subwoofer

They sound very good running solo, the only downside to their overall sound is they might be a little weak in the mid-range...but that depends on the CD also...I have music that sounds near perfect and some where the mids are a little shallow.
On the recordings that lack a bit,I just set the Denon to 5-channel and all is well...I do have 200 watts pushing the lower end of the 12's and an Adcom 5300 (2x80) running the upper end...My next move will be to replace the 5300 with a 5500 (2x200) and will have a total of 400 watts powering the 12's...
That should make them "sing" without any problems....
