My AMR130 computer speakers have finally quit on me. I got an email that said that all of the AMR 130's are gone and of course they are not making them anymore because they breakdown. Anyway, since I can't get a replacement, does anyone know of a way to repair the system? Someone suggested that the amplifiers were burning out in them. Any truth to that? If so, I need 2 Philips OM8384J amplifier chips. Anybody know where I can get a couple of those? I'm pretty handy with repairing stuff. Anybody ever had any luck repairing theirs? What did you do? Anybody have a sub for the AMR130 they want to get rid of?

Help Please!

Hey Plasticonoband, I've had the distinct pleasure?? of experiencing the same problems as you... in fact my second AMR130 has bombed on me. Both died after a little over a years worth of use. Not exactly the quality I heard about and expected from Polk. The system sounded great...when it worked. Please repost if you come up with any solutions and I'll do the same! Thanks
