I know this is a car audio question so before you guys drill me, I need some help. I am currently running the Polk Momo MMC6500's in my Toyota Tacoma and love everything about them. Anywho, I have a defective tweeter in the passenger side door. When I say defective, I do not mean blown. The grill on the tweeter is vibrating and there is no way to stop it from vibrating. Who would be my best bet to contact for car audio products. Polk is closed on the weekends so I was hoping to send someone a e-mail or something to try and get this resolved as soon as possible. Any help from my forum buddies would be greatly appreciated.

Also, did you buy the speaker from a retailer? If so you can take it back to them and they may exchange the tweeter for ya. Just a thought.polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005

Well this sucks. Just got off the phone with customer service with Polk Audio. Polk wants me to send the tweeter to Calf. with a brief discription of the problem to see if they can fix it. If it can't be fixed Polk will send me a new one I guess. I don't want to go weeks without a tweeter in my doors. Does anyone else know of any other way to get this resolved without having to send the tweeter in first.Money Talks, Mine says Goodbye Rob!!!!

Patience, young grasshopper. Just pray for a replacement to eliminate the hastle again.
BTW, did you expect them to send Matthew Polk to your front seat himself.HT Optoma HD25 LV on 80" DIY Screen, Anthem MRX 300 Receiver, Pioneer Elite BDP 51FD Polk CS350LS, Polk SDA1C, Polk FX300, Polk RT55, Dual EBS Adire Shiva 320watt tuned to 17hz, ICs-DIY Twisted Prs, Speaker-Raymond Cable

I guess what I said sounded kind of sad, didn't it. See, a few years back I had a plate amp on a PSW450 go bad. Customer service nor I was really sure if the amp was bad so what Polk did was they sent me the plate amp prior to me sending them the amplifier first. I guess I was just assuming it was going to be the same way. After further investigation, I realized the amp was not bad, I sent them the replacemet amp back. So, unless things have changed, I guess I was just expecting Polk to do the same thing. And Dennis, I'll be 31 in February.:eek:Money Talks, Mine says Goodbye Rob!!!!

No disresepct for your age meant. Only "polkin" fun.
I feel your pain. I know I hate it when electronics that I care alot about go on the blink. You come to count on those you use daily.
I hope they get you fixed asap,
