Polk Civic make CA&E's best of '04

Way cool! Its in there with the JL Audio mini, Alpine Civic and Pioneer Scion as a "Best Demo Car of '04". In my opinion, the Polk and JL cars are the only ones that should be in there.

The others dont even look like cars anymore. The Pioneer has a freakin DJ platform that comes out the **** end [yo-yo-yo ] and the Alpine Civic, while an engineering marvel, just looks plain stupid to me.

Seems like everything is all flashy and blingy nowadays, its nice to see something real world and classy.

Congrats to the guys for making a bad **** demo car that actually looks like something you can (and would want to) drive!

I dont know if I will ever try glassing. Im skeered. Ill stick to stock speaker locations, MDF and the Amateur Class! :p

About the only thing I wouldve changed on the Civic would be to do away with the MMC650's in the dash. I think thats a smidge over the top.

I love the idea of 8's in the dash! Super cool! However, I wouldve made them a little more stealth.

But this is a demo car and its made to show off the Polk gear and thats what is does well.

I also really dig the paintjob!

The MMC650's in the dash are for the 5.1 surround. I am really pleased with the feedback we've gotten from the project.

What kind of "Euro" car would you guys like to see with a competition level system? S4...M3...S-class? Budget is around $50K.

polk's speakers are made in america, why not compliment it with an american made car/truck?

Does the $50k include the install, or is that just for the car alone? I'd love to see a sweet polk M3 install. 2nd choice: Audi S4, then a Mercedes.

Wow!! This is just awesome that we get to have some input!!! If you decide to do an American car, I'll loan you my Jeep for a month so you can do it!!! :D

Seriously, though, I think the M3 would be cool.

Polks are manufacturered in India (pretty sure)...

They have two factorys in the US, one in Baltimore and one in San Diego

HQ in Baltimore. Shipping and warranty out of SanDiego. Not made in India.

We are trying to launch our new high end line in this car. We already have an S4 Avant here, but that might not happen. The $50K is just the car. We were looking at doing a Euro car to reflect the European styling of the new product.

Dude, everybody does BMW's, Audi's and Volkswagens. Why not go with a Jaguar or an Aston Martin? I mean it is supposed to be a high end line so why not put it in a high end car? A Mercedes E55 would be cool too! A Porsche Boxster or maybe even a new Cayenne would be an awesome demo car too!

If not one of those, go for an Italian marque like a Maserati or a cheap Ferrari.

Hey! Another idea, get a Mercedes Benz Gandlewagen! Otrherwise known as a G-wagon in the states because people here are too stupid and lazy to know what kind of car they drive beyond the usual "A red one!"

No, a Cheyenne would be bad because that is a GMC pickup truck from the mid 80's. A Cayenne would be a nice vehicle to do a custom install in though.

Hey!! If everybody likes the 350Z so much, you oughta do the Infiniti G35 Coupe....Exact same thing as the 350Z, just looks a whole lot better. Not that the 350Z looks bad....the Infiniti just looks amazing....

I think Jstas had a brilliant idea. Ive seen tons of BMW's and Benz's with installs but never a Jaguar or Aston Martin. Personally I would love to see a Jaguar.

I cant freaking wait to see the new line! European styling?! You wouldnt happen to have any spy shots of prototypes you could smuggle out would ya? ;)

Oooohh!! Why didn't I think about Lotis?!?! The new Lotis Elise with the sport package costs right at $50k. That would be really awesome!! It could be difficult as it is really small, but I bet it'd be the only Lotus demo car!! That would be really cool......
