He was, I believe, 82 years old.

He had a great life, so I don't think he'd mind my honoring him by repeating what I always thought was his funniest line . .

"I went to the doctor yesterday. He said I had six months to live. I said, 'Doc, I can't pay you.' He gave me another six months."

Rodney always had my respect. He'll be missed.

I watched the move 'Back To School' about 100 times, literally.

    Horrible news.

The man KNEW comedy, and helped make MANY careers 'happen'.

I'll raise the next glass in his honor, here's to 'no respect'.

    db,
Exactly the quote that came to my mind as well... "Back to School", right?

    Anyway, I'll settle for...
"... and give me a box of those naked lady tees... Whoa. nice hat! Buy a hat like that and they should give you a bowl, of soup."

Funny, funny man.... God is roflHao tonite...
    More later,

Unfortunately, that quote belonged to from Henny Youngman.:D

Rodney is a talent that will be missed by the entertainment industry. His "No Respect" act is a classic and his movies, "Easy Money", "Back To School" and "Caddshack", are among my favorites.

One of my all time favorites.

    Such a shame.

Back to School was a classic. He killed me in that movie.
