I always make sure everything is done right, pay or ship stuff on time, leave feedback and all that crap and then I get one jerk who will not pay me, so after repeated attempts over 7 weeks to get paid I leave him a negative. Now the jerk leaves me a retaliatory negative and "eF*ck You" won't remove it. What a terrible way to run a business. Damn I'm pissed!!!

I hope some a$$wipe at ePay reads this forum because I want to tell all of you there to KISS MY HAIRY WHITE ****!!! You'll get no more business from me.

Sorry to hear about that hoss....you have the option of "Mutual Feedback Retraction" but both of you have to comply.

You should contact Ebay Safe Harbor directly for the best resolution. If they won't help, then you are ****.

Ebay is the UPS of online transactions.

They are assinine about their policies with regard to feedback. I had something similar happen a while back and went off on them for that. There's not a lot of options that you have ultimately.

No......I stopped using that account and use another. I did complain loud and hard enough though and got him booted. He was using my BIN's to end my auctions for items that were competing with his, (iniitially from different accounts). I caught on that it was the same person and then left negative feedback to which he blasted mine. It wasn't a big deal to me only because I only had 2 transactions on that account. It wasn't anything to start over and wash my hands of it.

Most people are willing to overlook some minor feedback knowing that there are idiots out there with the intent to screw people over.

Just make a clear case in your feedback reply.

Ok, thanks. I'm fighting it through Square Trade, but I'm not holding my breath. I did reply to his comments making it clear that he was the problem, still pisses me off.

well, to me it seems like it's not really an Ebay problem. it's the asshooey that never paid ya in the first place.

Ebay is just the middle man if you will.. but yeah, it would be nice if they actually patrolled the net to keep aholes like this off of there.

But that would mean Ebay would have to actually do something more than just sit back and collect millions of dollars a day.

I almost got a negative once and it really pissed me off too. I wouldn't worry about it. When people see that one negative they normally assume it is this type of thing. Even before being real familiar with how ebay works I would follow the negatives between people and be able to figure out whether or not I should worry about the seller with the negative. Sucks anyway. Keep an eye on the fellow and someday when he is about to sell a really big ticket item warn the buyer. :D

I wouldn't sweat it bud. I read thru feedbacks before I bid and can spot an unjustified negative comment in a second---as most people can. Everyone on ebay is subject to the occasional jerk, unfortunately.

... but ebay probably has already credited your account for the fees due to non-paying bidder, right? Seems they are quicker to throw bucks than to address issues.

Good Luck getting it resolved, Jesse.

When I first read this I thought F1nut was selling some expensive, esoteric piece of audio gear, but DAMN, it turned out to be an item that comes to less than thirty bucks with shipping! It's amazing that the buyer has the nerve to say he can't complete the purchase because he's "strapped for cash".

I'd be too ashamed to publicly admit that I couldn't cough up $30. Maybe that $30 had to go to his crack dealer.;)

Yep, the scumbag claims he's poor, but bids, wins and pays for a $67.00 set of 3 Elvis CD's 10 days after he won my auction. He also bid, won and paid for many other items after he won my auction. Poor my ****!
