Email Ken at Polk Customer Service, he'll get ya fixed up with what ya need.
BTW, Welcome to the forum, you'll find lots of SDA junkies around here!! -
Mike,
Welcome to the forum and congrats on discovering SDA's.
Frank has you pointed in the right direction for a manual. Please feel free to rant somemore as the more ranting we do the more likely Polk is to reissue the SDA line.
I've got to ask since we're just about neighbors, where is Cape Ann Audio?

Does the interconnect cable end have two flat pins or one round and one flat?
Thanks for the Cape Ann Audio info.Political Correctness'.........defined

You have the SDA 2B. That was my first SDA speaker, they came with either oak or walnut end caps or the "Studio" version in all black oak grain vinyl.Political Correctness'.........defined

Mike,
Nice grab and welcome!!
I've spent some time with the 2B's and the are swell speakers! I'm also a ribbon fan as well so I'd be interested in your thoughts re the SDA's vs a ribbon speaker.

BTW - The SDA-2's have another profound benefit. My wife has always enjoyed listening to my live guitar and B-3 work (well, that's what she claims) - but, she has never really been one to "sit and listen" to recorded music. I can't get her out from in front of the SDA-2's. She tells me "it's just like a live set." WAF? Nope, in this case it's been WCF (Wife Converted Factor.) Why in the world did Polk discontinue the SDA series? There are still millions of us "old ****" 2-channel music lovers around.
Congratulations Mike. Good thing the SDA sweet spot is big enough for two people side by side on the couch or love seat!
The Steve Miller Band is an excellent choice of music for the SDA experience. I have 2A, 2B, 1C, and 2.3TL SDAs and can't choose my favorite between them because they all sound so good in their own ways. -

Sounds like F1, doro and John ought to highjack this guy and bring him to Charleston.......
Agreed, I think that the MG-1 employed what Maggie called the quasi-ribbon. Not sure what all the technical voodoo is but I'm a big fan of Maggies as well.
On the whole, I love the transparency and the detail that ribbons offer as well as the high frequency extension but the unreal soundstaging of the SDA's is nothing short of amazing.
Couple pairs of GREAT speakers you got there....

Yea, I like this guy too.
Nothing in the world is quite like a B-3. They live, breath, relax and excite the soul. I'm a big Jimmy Smith, Jimmy McGriff etc fan. SDA's are awesome on this stuff. If you don't have it I will send you a copy of the Jimmy Smith "Root Down" live CD. It is my favorite!

I'm not familiar with Hank Parker or Jimmy Foster. Sounds like something I should check out. I have DotCom blues. What is with B-3 players named Jimmy.
Really cool room! I think you will like the polk site. Lots of really nice people here.
