For the past few months, I have been saving money and patiently waiting for a good deal to come for my 2ch stereo. I was not looking buy brand new stuff (it will take me years to finish the project) because of my tight budget; however, I was not going to settle for an abused and unreasonable price item.

So far, I am thankful that all transactions during this shopping were smooth and painless. All of the sellers were nice and fair to deal with. I think the slow process of building this rig somehow paid off, I hope so...:(

The first items on the list was my #1 favorite deal out of the rest deals I've had. Below are the CARVER's C-1, M-1.5t and TX-11 purchased from a local guy for $250. These are in mint condition except for the TX11(minor un noticeable nicks at the back) and has all of the original documents.

The last item, was my most recent purchase and my final item on my list (due to $0.00 balance on the 2ch account:) ) Without further a do, please say hello to my SDA SRS 1.2tl :) .

I am very proud of this purchased. Again, these were local pickup, the owner was not even considering to get the market value on this speakers because he did not want to thru with the shipping process. He just wanted to get a fair $$ out of the speakers.

He is the original owner and has all the original documents but not the box. The 1.2tl's are in mint condition: the tweeters, drivers, sub, grills are original and free scraches. The original price was $1,700.00, which was way out of my budget. I was lucky enough to get the first dib on the 1.2tls, so I got the advantage from other potential buyers. The owner was cool enough to invite me to their house and hang out with him for the day.

After spending a fantastic and interesting day with the owner, he offered me the 1.2tls for $1000.00 together the YAMAHA 450 turn table that he threw in for free. I paused and stared down on the floor for a few seconds, reached down under neath the table and with a big grin on my face pop open the las two bottles of beer(out of 46 bottles that are empty and flashed out of our body:D ). I handed one for him and the other for me and we tosed them beers up in the air to show my appreciation and also as an indication of a complete transaction :D .

The placement is just temporary. I need plenty of time to perfectly place them up and update my pictures in our showcase. These photos are for the audio freak members in this forum ;). I hope you guys enjoy my humble 2ch stereo rig.

I've read some helpful threads in this forum that gave me tips about the other SDA SRS 1.2 models. On the other hand, I've also learned that may it be tl's or not tl's, grab it fast if the tag price is for a steal. One of them was Darque's thread below

    A Cutlist's Family Heirloom

I also compared the some pictures in here with the one that I was getting.

Very cool deal and set up you got there. I bet that bed really helps absorb unwanted sound that would otherwise bounce off the front wall. When it's time for music in my system, a THICK blanket goes over the television.

Awsome!I want some SDA's badly...I just purchased a very good condition Carver tfm22 amplifier...$258,that included shipping, thought I got a good deal, but you certainly stoled that stuff;) I dont know much about Carver, have read, and been told to buy pre 1995 stuff,I understand the quality suffered after Bob left the company, pretty happy with my amp so far,its 225wpc...2 channell also. I dont know how good Carver is,like anything,Ive heard mixed reviews,I like mine so far,let me know what you think of yours
