Peronally love them. Bought stuff through them a couple of times. The first time through Amazon.com (they're affiliates), and the shipping was so fast and prices so good that I went back twice more for assorted things, only to be just as pleased.

I never had to return anything, so I'm not sure how they are in that dept. Just know their prices are good, and they ship fast. No quality problems with the items I got (pair of speakers (possibly my polk R20s, actually...), a portable MP3 player.... couple other things I don't remember).
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

I have never been to the store, but I have ordered an R50 speaker from them. They are a legitimate store that is polk authorized, and ship via ups. I ordered on saturday, they processed my order on monday and shipped it out on tuesday and it was delivered on saturday (for an extra fee you can get saturday delivery). The speaker was brand new in a sealed box and un-dammaged. The only fault was that they double boxed the speaker without any extra stuffing (having a heavy box sliding inside a bigger box, is not the best idea in my opinion).

One thing to check is whether they can sell an R-series speaker to ohio. Polk is restricting them to only the northeast.

Are you sure that they will ship polks to your state?

I have had many positive experiences with J&R. They will also"deal" on the price for most items, particularly if you are buying more than one item (for ex., amp and speakers). Mention that you are definitely in the market for the particular item(s) you are inquiring about and always ask if the price you are quoted is the "best" price they can offer you. On items where they can't be very flexible on price, they may throw in some accessories at a sharply reduced price or they may do two-day shipping for the price of regular ground shipping.

I bought my Harman Kardon AVR7200 there.
Nice price and good handling, though a little bit too slow.
