    Not really...your typical newish home with 200A service is 24,000VA/24kVA. Still a helluva lot of juice!

    Wel, it depends on if the homes are total electric, how far away from the pot they are (for flicker and voltage drop) and how you figure the diversity factor. I had in mind for a medium-sized house right around 1500sq ft. We at the power company size them for the actual load, not necesarily the service size.

    You may be surprised how close they would sound to each other. :) But, no, I am using the standard bearings and not replacing your drive with an air bearing. I could spray it with an air compressor before I close it up though. :D (If I ever get the freakin capacitors.)
