For that much money, the damn thing better be...
There is no genuine justice in any scheme of feeding and coddling the loafer whose only ponderable energies are devoted wholly to reproduction. Nine-tenths of the rights he bellows for are really privileges and he does nothing to deserve them. We not only acquired a vast population of morons, we have inculcated all morons, old or young, with the doctrine that the decent and industrious people of the country are bound to support them for all time.-Menkin

    It sure does LOOK cool.

I'm with you Doro, MAJOR yawn for the coin. I can think of a LOT better amps to spend my $ on. On the solid state front, nothing better than a couple big Brystons at ANY price. Tube preamps, the list is endless, Cary, Conrad Johnson, Dodd Audio, etc etc etc.

    Cheers,
    Russ

Where should I start - I could do research allday on insane hi-end amps. Want pics---- I would like a pair of these to start - the speaker cables alone are several thousand bucks.

MRA: Master Reference Amplifier. This 600lbs monaural amplifier will give you about 1000watts RMS 8 ohm pure class A. The MRA doubble down to 0,5 ohm and give you 16000watts of clean power. With it’s 16000VA power suppley and 280 Bipolar transistors it will drive anything. Probably even drive the smaller krells in the third picture. And it’s as huge as an ordinary living room table.

That's closer. They certainly rate better at 0.5 ohms and cost a hell of a lot more, but they still don't have the sweet MF sonic signature. :D

Just having some fun with ya F1Nut.:D
What does speaker wire have to do with it ? Because in this class of hi power amps - regular 18 gauge lamp card speaker wire would catch fire........;)

They use water cooled 1/2 diameter copper tubing between the amp and speakers.
