Just peeked inside my CRS to make sure everything stayed intact after the cross country trip. I expected to see the pair of sl2000
that parts shows as the tweeters but I found a pair of 1000's. The date on the 6503s and the 1000s shows Dec 12 1984 and they look to be original. Are the 2000's or 2000t's replacements for the 1000's ?

The new SL2000 replacement tweeter (the SL2000T- Polk part number RD0194-1) is listed as an equivalent replacement for both the SL1000 and SL2000 tweeters. This implies that the SL2000 can also be used as a replacement for the SL1000.

Thank You. I had planned on doing what you have done in the past and use these as a center. You have the most impressive use of SDA speakers and I respect your opinions as I read-alot.
