Monitor Series or RTi?
I have a CSi5 Center and I love it, I was wondering, should I switch to the monitor series?
I have two options, buy the RTi6 and eventually get the RTi12s (It's my dream to get them, don't bother to defer that)
Or to trade in My CSi5 for a CS2 and get the Monitor 40 and eventually fill out my system with the Monitor 70s?
It's either CSi5, RTi12, and RTi6, *or* Monitor 40, Monitor 70 and CS2, What would be better off? (Disregarding money)

i have the csi5 and monitor 70. i enjoy the combo a great deal. ive never heard the csi5 with the rti series but there probably isnt that much of a difference. but i personaly wouldnt waste my money on bookshelf speakers when you know your going to upgrade later. wait it out a little and buy what u like and what sounds good to you. the main thing in my mind to remeber is that both speakers will sound great especialy with the csi5. thats my 2cents

Switching the Csi5 for a Cs2 would be a downgrade. The Csi5 has a better freq response and higher watt handling, and the Csi5 weighs 8lbs more!

IMO , definitly go with the CSi5 and the RTi line . As PolkThug pointed out , the Monitor series is a down grade from the RTi line . I would keep to your original thought of the RTi12's and 6's , or a close combo of that (RTi10's , etc ) .
Check your local CircuitCity's for "close-out" prices on the RTi line and/or demo's ; since CC is no longer going to carry this line . Believe me , you can grab a great deal if you hurry and do some CC searching , as the close-out has being going on for some time now .
*NOTE*
(do a search here at the forums under "CircuitCity" , and you'll see some of the great deals that have been had during this close-out)
