Due to a piece of brass laying across the banana plugs the tweeter and both subwoofers blew in the satellite. I use two amp per speaker one for the satellite and one for the subwoofer. I bought these new back in the 90s and while they are not my primary speakers I still enjoy them greatly. I was able to find a matched set of mid-woofers but I am unable to find the tweeter. They are the upgraded RD-2516-1s. Years ago one of the tweeters failed and Polk sent me the new pair in exchange for the old ones. From what I have been able to find out the original tweeters were 4 ohm and the updated ones are 6 ohm. I'm either going to send the tweeter in for repair or replace both tweeters with something else. The only recommendations I have come up with are 4 ohm. Any recommendations or help would be greatly appreciated. I really attached to these RTs.

Give Polk Customer service a phone call and ask if the 2516 tweeter is still available. I don't remember seeing mention on the forum that they are out of them.
