Magnifi-X sub will not fully power on

This soundbar/sub is from July 2016, the soundbar powers on, music flows from a 3.5mm jack into the soundbar, but when you turn on the sub, the led quickly blinks once then turns off.
There is no sync button on the sub, just the soundbar.
With the circuit board plugged in, I have 24V leaving the power board into the 2nd board. Curious as to what I can test.

Lol...well, for the interest in diagnosing, I would like to see if my son and I can try to figure out what went bad. This is only being used as a PC speaker, we have options in mind if it needs to be tossed.
