Back to towers? I thought you were set on bookshelfs? Well, it's your decision. Just don't blame me if those towers tear your room apart.

LOL. People say 1ft from the wall and 5ft from me should be enough to sound decent.

Theres a thing called a volume control. Sean told me to get the towers and be done with it, so I am.

Whats an RP5???????? It looks perfect! It has a side firing woofer so I could control the bass, and only one woofer on the front so not so much air is coming out the rear port! Whats this model based on?

Hmm, it has a side firing subwoofer?

If it has a built in sub, the port should actually see MORE air flow, no?
    - Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.

Just make sure you can create and equilateral triangle with the speakers and your head. So if your speakers are 5ft apart, make sure each one is 5ft away from your head.

With the RF-35 in your room, I can guarantee you won't want a sub after hearing them. With 1ft of clearance, your bass will be on the 'hot' side. Man, my room 32' x 13' with a large opening for the stairs and they can still move enough air to shake my balls. They even filled up the GIANT demo room at the dealer with ease.

LOL like PolkWannabie said, becareful with them or they'll tear your ears apart. They play extremely clean and it's very easy to set the volume too high without noticing how loud you're jammin.

The RF-5 are more expensive because they have a different tweeter and larger horns. Once I'm finished paying back my credit card, I'm getting a pair of RF-7.
