Polk Magnifi Max SR 5.1 Voice Issues

Hi, I recently bought a 2nd hand Polk Magnifi SR, I am having strange issues where with some content, the voices sound muffled or even distorted. If I put my ear close to the soundbar, I can hear how distorted the voices are, even at low volume.
This distortion seems to only happen on some content, most of the apps I tried were Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney and Youtube, these were all dont on the devices below:
1. Xbox one
2. Apple TV 4th Gen
3. Xiomi Mibox4 - Android TV
On each of the devices, I tried different things like forcing the output to PCM, Stereo Uncompressed (Xbox), Dolby Digital, Dolby DTS, some changes made slight improvements but generally the voice distortion remained.
I just want to say, when I play something with 5.1 content, then the sound was generally good - amazing, all the sound effects and music and bass are terrific, but when there is not all this noise to mask the voices, then it sounds horrible.
Other things I have tried:
1. Did a factory reset
2. Made sure the soundbar is on the latest firmware
3. Tried turning that voice enhancement all the way down, and up, changed the settings to move, sport and music
Is there any fix for this as I do not know what else to do, did I buy a dud, would it be worth sending in to do a repair?

I think I found the issue, it seems to be one faulty speaker, whenever it comes on, then the distortion starts. If move my ear along the soundbar from one side to the other with the sound low, I can hear they all fine until one place on the right, next to the center speaker, then I can hear that distortion. Will open it up and disconnect it and see if it goes away altogether, if it does, I'll try get a replacement speaker
