Change volume changes input

When i raise the volume or lower it from either tv remote or the Polk remote Every time i have to push the tv audio button on the Polk remote. It’s rather annoying. I’ve tried the unplug method and when i use the volume bar it still does same thing. I don’t seem to get an update and it’s nowhere to be found in my google home either. Any help would be wonderful.
