How to update firmware on Magnifi Max AX SR

I installed the Google Home app and connected the soundbar. I verified that I had the 4.04 version, which wasn’t the latest version I found on Google. However, I waited for two days, and the update didn’t happen automatically.
I then tried to force update the soundbar by following the steps below, but it didn’t work either. Do I need to update the firmware? If so, how do I do it, and how are automatic updates done?
Note: I purchased the soundbar only a few days ago, and there have been no issues with the sound.
To force update the soundbar, unplug the power cords from the soundbar, subwoofer, and surrounds. Wait for 1-2 minutes to discharge the power fully.
Next, plug in the soundbar first. Wait for the boot-up process to complete (the orange LED stops blinking and turns off, which takes about 30-60 seconds).
Press the Power button on the top panel of the soundbar. The rightmost LED should light up orange.
Press the Mute button on the top panel. The LED should pulse white.
Plug in the subwoofer and surrounds. Check their rear LEDs to ensure they are solid green (this indicates that the pairing process was successful. If not, press the Sync button on the back of the subwoofer or surround).
Wait for 10-30 seconds. If an update is available, the leftmost LED will pulse white, and the LEDs will fill from left to right (this indicates that the update process is in progress. It may take 5-15+ minutes).
After the LEDs fill, the soundbar will reboot (the lights will turn off). The update is complete. Do not use the soundbar during this process.
