Banana plugs

Hello everyone,
It's been snowing here yesterday was about 2 inches and today maybe another 2 or 3. So I have been in the house fooling around and was cleaning up some of my stuff in the basement. I was looking at some of my older speaker cables I built and purchased assembled and noticed the old Monstercable Banana jacks , the ones you had to counter clockwise screw onto monstercable speaker wire. The reason it was counter clockwise is monster use to wind their cables in that manner so the banana's made total sense. If you wanted to use a different brand wire , you had to counter twist the bare strands in order to except the Monster banana plugs.
Now what is pretty awesome is they are gold plated and do not corrode at all. I can't say that for many other brands including Audioquest and their silver or even gold plated banana plugs.
Also those old Monstercable banana plugs I feel with only 1 exception, WBT twist lock they grip better than any other brand on the market. Audioquest 1000 series has a pressure bar on the one side of their banana plugs , I have those and they also grip pretty well but those monsters where slightly shorter, don't stick out at all on most binding posts as other brands including Audioquest make thier banana's to long.
I might go on a quest to find some of those old Monstercable reverse **** banana jacks. I think they are my overall favorite of all time. Which is also funny I found my old Speaker cables I use to use with my LSI 15's which where custom built by me, Monstercable 14-4 speaker cable , Bi wire 8 foot runs terminated in those old banana jacks. I might for the sheer hell of it take them out of retirement and give them a go. Maybe just maybe if I get bored enough, I might even shoot them out.
Yeah it's snowing outside so things like this go on.

MIT Cables Iconn banana plugs. They screw on and can be swapped out with spades or pins.

They look exactly like the Monsters. Except for the stationary part that goes on the wire itself. That design grips very well.Dan
