Hello, I have purchased this Polk Magnifi Max SR soundbar with the 8" subwoofer along with 2x SR1 rear speakers back in 2020 and have enjoyed the superb sound in my living room. However, lately, the sound bar has not been playing sound from the TV correctly. It seems like it has stopped playing the Left channel which usually plays voices and only plays the right channel which usually plays background sounds. I have reset the soundbar and the TV multiple times syncing the accessories with no issues but the sound output is just not right. I also replaced the HDMI cable with a new one, but that did not solve the problem. Best Buy tech guys came over and basically told me to buy a new one but I refuse to believe it is the end of my Polk sound system as they are unable to tell me what seem to be the problem. I joined this forum in the hope of saving my soudbar system. I live in CT USA and the nearest Polk service center in Florida.

Hi that sounds really frustrating man. if one channel is gone it could be the hdmi arc port or the soundbar amp for that side. You can try switching to optical cable just to test if both channels come back. And also check the balance setting in your tv and bar menu just in case. if it still same maybe the amp board needs service but dont give up yet.
