Junk, probably not. Are there better cables out there... certainly. But they do come at a price.

Personally, I wouldn't change the HD stuff for some other $0.50/ft wire unless you were having problems with your current wire.

If you do want to take a step up, look at Kimber and Audioquest among many others of course. Based on your price range, have a listen and decide what you like. The only problem is if you go bulk, because it's cut to your desire, you probably won't be able to return it if you don't like it.

I meant that to be lighthearted, just poking fun. I think that if you don't read Roger Russell and the anti-cable brethren, then you are only getting half the picture. Don't get me wrong, I don't disagree with him entirely, all information is good information.

I've chosen and heard my calling as far as cables go, and I won't be straying from the path anytime soon.

What you do with it, is entirely on yourself as the user. If 10AWG wire makes you feel good, then it must be good. Good luck in whatever you choose, eventually you will decide on an application that suits you best.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

You'd have to give it a try to decide for yourself.

. . .a nice glass of Virgin Islands rum with a big squeeze of lime, and some home-made guacamole - lots of hot sauce. All this mental input has depleted my supply of precious bodily fluids, and thus - well - I thirst! Have a wunnerful eve - - Larry R.

    That's a system tweak in itself. ;)
