What center with LSi7's?

I've seen all the posts about using LSi7's all around, etc.

My Yamaha receiver can handle 4--ohm mains, but the center or rears have to be 8-ohm.

Who's using their LSi7's with a non-LSI center and how happy are you with it?

    Just because you don't want to run 4 ohms doesn't mean you can't use the LSiC. You could still run it if you keep the SPL levels down, You put in a four Ohm resistor in line to boost the resistance. Not a big deal. IMHO, I wouldn't want to run anything else, the timbre match wouldn't be there. Especially in the front stage.

    I am - timbre match is very acceptable, but not perfect.
