That Chinese "yellow glue" is said to turn brown and to become conductive. Not good.
Check your photos again. The first photo, you circled a capacitor instead of the place where something (Q8?) blew up in the 2nd photo.
On that vertical board it looks like some of the yellow glue has turned brown. That's a suspicious spot.George / NJ

Yes I did take off the transistor but for sure it's called Q8 and is seat near the mentioned capacitor (circle around) -

Ahh ok I see now. You clipped the leads rather than desoldered.
I know you say it is unreadable but could you post pictures of the transistor?
What is the model # of the Polk subwoofer, ie. PSW3000? Maybe they have the schematic or can tell you the transistor part # @SeleniumFalconGeorge / NJ

By any chance are you trying to say DSW MicroPro 3000 (not micro sdw 3000) ?

I have sent the schematic for the DSW series amplifiers, however there isn't a Q8.
