    Need a lot more detail of what you are asking. Work for what?
    Usually the device will list the voltage and amperage requirements. If your device says 24V and less than 3A, it will work. If voltage is different, then you should find the correct voltage supply. If amperage needed is more than 3A, that also won't work, at least not for very long.
