There is a pair of SDA 2.3 speakers for sale but they have the speakers with the donuts. They are priced at $1000.
Should I steer clear of the models with the donuts?
Is this a good price?
Thanks for your opinions.

Steer clear...
Other than the price, Why??
$600-$700 is a fair price in good condition.. -
Price is a little high. If you have any intention of rebuilding the crossover those are a little more costly that the 2.3tl model. The donut divers are pretty rare, I'm pretty sure one of our members has some spares if you purchase them. $600-$700 would be a fair price IF in real good condition and all drivers work. Unfortunately a few of the drivers the 2.3 used are getting real hard to aquire, so keep that in mind.

The SDA SRS 2.3 is the only model that uses the MW6513 donut drivers. I have those available.
Price depends on a number of factors. Mint condition generally brings a higher
price. Original boxes/packing material add more value. Location and availability factor into it as well. What might bring a certain price in one area will not in another. Keep in mind that sellers are usually open to negotiation.
Simply stating steer clear in this case is bad advice.

Thanks for the advice! I would love to find some TL models, but haven't come across any. I'll try to see if a better price can be negotiated.

I'm in Minnesota.

I bought my 2.3's with the donut drivers locally in 2010. I paid $700.00, they are near mint. I still use them. They are a fine sounding speaker, not a hard pass. But try some polite haggling.

Thanks for the thought. I’m guessing you’re in CA or Vegas, so that would be a bit far! -
Yes, I'm in Southern California, and it would be really expensive to ship to Minnesota.
