Oops. I didn't realize the section you posted this in. My original post was deleted. My apologies.

Just to pick-a-nit, I would call those "phono cables". Tonearm cables (or wires) are the very small gauge wires inside the tonearm. Doh! Well, I did say, "I would call those...". But apparently, I am in the minority!"This may not matter to you, but it does to me for various reasons, many of them illogical or irrational, but the vinyl hobby is not really logical or rational..." - member on Vinyl Engine

Congrats!
I’m curious where all those ground wires are supposed to connect?
I’m just using standard RCA interconnects and the stock ground wire on my SL-1210G at the moment, so not sure where all those spades go.

There are additional grounding options depending on your setup. The grounds on either end are removable so you can run without grounds or with just one or two on each end etc.

I won’t put it in till Saturday when I clean my system.
I don’t know about the grounding options making a difference, I might play with it, and see if it changes anything..

Interesting. Thank you!
The ground post on the Technics is a PITA to get to. I’d be having my fingers crossed that it only took one on that end to achieve silence. 🤔

Never seen them with grounds in both ends though. -
I spent the day with this cable, and have to say I’m very impressed with it. I wasn’t really sure how much better it would be from the cables I was using, but so far I’m very happy with it, it’s warmer yet very revealing and deeper on the lower end..
I appreciate Zach giving me a super deal on it..
Thanks!! -
Glad you are enjoying it Larry! I’m sure the PH9.0X + that cable have really stepped up your vinyl game.2 Channel in my home attic/bar/man cave

Just wondering if you did any experimenting with the ground cable configurations, whether or not you noticed any differences and which one you landed on?
I got a Heimdall 2 tonearm cable today that I’ll be installing, hopefully over the weekend. I’ve been so impressed with the H2 interconnects I got for my DAC a few weeks ago that I had to give the tonearm cable a try.

I honestly haven't played with it, I just hooked them up complete, using both ground wires, and I am happy with what I am hearing.
I might get to it at some point.. -
Thank you, Larry. That’s good news. I’m hoping to be one-and-done, too.

If a particular phono grounding scheme isn't working, it should be evident. It either works, or it doesn't, in my experience. The curveball that I've experienced has been when a step-up-transformer (SUT) is incorporated, since it may require an additional ground wire between the SUT, and the phonostage."This may not matter to you, but it does to me for various reasons, many of them illogical or irrational, but the vinyl hobby is not really logical or rational..." - member on Vinyl Engine
