Lost control of tv

Since connecting the Polk Signa 2 we've lost function on our Sky and Samsung remote controls, including volume. How can we recover these?

    Hello,
    Welcome to the Polk forum. Usually when a soundbar is connected to a TV you have to go into the TV's setup instructions and turn off the internal speakers. This is done so the TV will send an audio signal to the soundbar so it can play the sound. When you turn off the TV's internal speakers this removes the ability to raise and lower the TV's speakers with the remote since they are no longer functioning.
