Remote control of Magnifi Mini doesn't work

Hello good day, my remote control for my Magnifi Mini stopped working overnight, at first I thought it was because of the batteries, but I changed them and still did not work. I tried to try with the camera on my phone to see if it sent a signal with the led inside but it did not light up, so I opened the control and I came to ask if there is any way I can fix this problem?

Most of the time the problem is with the infrared LED. The first thing to do is place a DC meter across the two LED terminals, install the battery then push a button and see if there's voltage across the LED.
Have you tried contacting Polk to see if they have them, is it still in warranty? -

Mmm I want to believe that no, when I bought the sound bar in September of this year a week later it stopped playing when I wanted to connect it to Chromecast, I asked in the forum what I could do since I am in Mexico, they gave me some contacts and I sent my bar to them, but the replacement they gave me does not work with HDMI and now the control died, I guess there is nothing more I can do 🤷🏻♂️ -
Do you want to try fixing the remote yourself? Have you contacted the people who sent you the replacement and explained that you are having trouble with the HDMI connection and the remote has stopped working?

Yes, to save time and yes I also told the people who sent me the replacement about the HDMI, they told me to corroborate that it was not the cable, it is not the cable, then they told me to wait a moment and from there I have not been told anything else. -
The first thing to do is to determine if the problem is with the LED or with the circuitry that drives the LED. Do you have a volt/ohm meter that can measure DC volts?

Yes i have it! -
What you are going to do is set the meter to read DC volts and put the battery in the remote. Then with the meter's probes on each of the two leads that are connected to the LED push any of the remote's buttons and see if there is any voltage going to the LED. It will probably be 1 or 2 volts.

You might want to contact the second person and explain what happened and she could send you a new remote.

She was the fisrt person i send an email since August 27th but she didn't answer me, i'll try again.
With the DC meter i got 0 on the results -
That probably indicates that the problem is with the circuitry that drives the LED rather than the LED itself. I'll mention to my friend that you didn't receive a response from her.

My friend at Polk will need some basic information from you to help solve this problem. Please send him an email to: Kim.jasper@masimo.com and give him your name, address, telephone number, the serial number from the soundbar and the date you received it.

Oh ok, I've already sent the email -
I believe a new upgraded soundbar is headed your way.
