I was just thinking it has been a long time since he has posted any nonsense :D

I have kept in touch with Scott by email. He is fine, but he was growing a bit tired of some aspects of this forum. He is on a long term forum vacation to focus on more positive hobbies and projects. He does browse the "Recent Discussions" as a guest occasionally, so he keeps up with all our BS.

I think the forum needs a few more stickies so you have to scroll to the bottom of the page to see new posts on the Recent Discussions page. I now have to scroll down to see new posts. I've calculated that I'm losing 8.7 minutes per day due to this sticky situation.

Recent Discussions here seems to have a loose or perhaps ingeniously nonlinear definition. I have no idea why, though.
  • I miss Scott @MSG!

He always has a different way of looking at life.

ah shucks, you guys. thanks for noticing!

yeah, I was just taking a little break from our anti-social-media-social-media forum.

just reading, listening to tunes, pondering on Man and the Universe...
trying to get back to some basics. cooking, exercise, punching the scrote*... you know, the usual.

Is this like that black paint thread?

Or is it the airhole for a subwoofer thread?

if you combine them... could that solve the mystery of where the black paint is? in the airhole of a subwoofer?

  • Scott @msg, by any chance did you see @verb and @joecoulson while you were wandering?

They have been missing a longer time.

I did, in fact, see them.

We all happened to meet at an intersection in the middle of nowhere in Nebraska, each having arrived on separate path. It was quiet out there. Eerily quiet. Just wind. The Stop signs were riddled with bullet holes. Just then, a crow perched on a dead tree branch crowed. We all nodded to each other. @verb waved. Then we each made right turns. The crow... it knew something. I'm sure of it.

That is the end of the story.

    Or the beginning.

PS just recently saw this posted somewhere -- probably on this site -- but danged if I could find it and attribute the source! :(
