Hi I had a Sigma 2 soundbar installed with a new TV. I think the installer connected both the optical and HDMI cables on the soundbar. My problem is the volume - when I mute the TV with the TV remote or bringthe volume down to 0 manually, there's still considerable volume coming from the soundbar, but if I mute with the soundbar remote it mutes correctly. The volume on the soundbar is very loud, I can't turn it up past 3 or 4, and doesn't sound great. The TV is set correctly to soundbar. Any insight output. Any insight would be great.

    Hello,
    Welcome to the Polk forum. Usually an installation of a soundbar requires turning off the TV's internal speakers. When you do that the TV's muting and volume control function are usually removed. When you say, "doesn't sound great", can you explain what you are hearing wrong?
