    What's that supposed to mean?

You're the one who posted it -- what do YOU think it means?

We went from the possibility of welcoming a new member with warm, open arms to "your posts are cringey..."

    And it didn't take long.

    God bless you.

I'm still not convinced you're a human being.

Now that's truly not being cordial... ;)

I can assure you a non-sentient being couldn't type out what I did in response to your warm welcome.

I can assure you that it can.

I can assure you that it cannot -- and that I am not one.

That you are not one what?

Ahhhh -- that was my mistake, sir. The reply was meant to insist that I am, in fact, a living, breathing sentient being that's most certainly not attempting to create "cringe-worthy" posts, as has been the accusation.

I can see where the confusion came in with regard to my reply; I was trying to say, in that moment of weakness, that I was not an AI creation or bot.

Oh man, that reply. lol. You definitely are one.

    LMFAO....

Well, if I am, I'm the most sentient feeling-centric bot that's ever lived, I'll tell you that! I can feel pain from regular eye injections due to macular degeneration, I experience fear during some of the worst moments of horror films and I definitely sense dread so far as the possible Harris presidency is concerned. :#

I should make one of those thingies with nine squares. Each square featuring a forum member. And new members have to select which squares feature crosswalks to verify they are a real person.

Yeah - the robot test. Not a bad idea.

    I can assure you I'd pass. ;)

I pulled out the Cannonball Run dvd this past weekend to watch with the kids (could not find the original Cannonball Run anywhere on streaming).

What a FUN movie - huge cast, with everyone just having a good time. Kids loved it…

I bought sonic the hedgehog on 4K ($12 shipped Amazon- that's one movie ticket at the good theater!) and we watched in the remodeled home theater last night. Fun movie, kept the kids entertained, and the soundtrack was pretty dang awesome...
