Any opinions on RT55s and a CS400i vs R200s and an r400?

Hmm...I haven't heard the new center, but the r200s are very nice. Definitely much more refined than the rt55is, but gosh really liked. I can't imagine the center not also being more refined.

Now, it is worth the $$$ for the upgrade? Only you can decide 😂

I never had the RT55, but I had some RT800i which were the tower versions. They were OK but they never really surprised me with anything. The R200 blows them away in detail and imaging. I have also not heard the R400, but I have an R300 to go with my R200. It surprises me how good those three sound together.

The R series is supposed to perform almost as good as the Legend series did. Not exactly the same, the Legend series had way better cabinets.

The Old RT , RTI and RTIA series speakers are no match for the newer models. They were good in their time but honestly just not on the same level or world if you ask me. The LSI and LSIM series older model I think still stand pretty tall even for today's standards but the RT's??? Not so much
