    You will now lol

And so will I for making fun of you for saying that :#

But seriously, I do wonder about it for other brands of speakers. Love my Polk speakers, but also found that I really enjoy Wharfedale, too. Makes me wonder what it is that's causing the later LSiM and some of the Legend/Reserve tweeters to go.

Have we seen any of those go for no reason, or just accidents?

The last tweeters I blew were LSI-15's, and I was listening to AC/DC at a volume so loud I could hear it in the yard over the sound of my lawn mower. I had smoke literally being pumped out of the power ports. I think music genre and the volume knob can accelerate tweeter demise.

A few years ago I accidentally sent full volume - 250 watts - to my Salks by accident , mistakenly using AirPlay …. Shockingly , it didn’t damage the Raal tweeters a bit , or the Seas Excel woofers !

I subsequently disabled AirPlay on all my equipment 😂

Very easy to do with digital devices. If there is a max volume setting i highly recommend using it!
