    I was suspecting it might have been a loose something or other inside the speaker given nothing else had changed.

    There was something I saw when the L800s were introduced about the crossovers being unusual in that all of the stereo signal went to one of the speakers and then was shared with the other side. May be misremembering that though.

    I just think I did a sloppy job connecting it. When I replaced the damping material, it must have pulled loose.
