    Dude,

    I have the SVS PCI 22-31 (25-31, free 22hz tune)

    YOU WILL NOT******************************* in a 10x10 room, and I repeat.... WILL NOT!!!!!!!!! Need ANYMORE bass in THAT room.

    My sub hits down to 15hz at 81 db (starting at 85db at 100hz) --

    It is EXTREMELY loud --- save your money and get it. You will get the SPL and the extention in that room, without a doubt.

    I suggest you just listen around --

    Polk Audio, Axiom, Definitive, Infinity, Boston, Klipsch, B&W, JM Lab, there is A BUNCH of speakers in that price range ---

    Adcom, NAD, Denon, Yamaha, Sony ES, Pioneer Elite, AMC, etc etc - Bunch of amps and receivers out there

    SVS, HSU are subwoofers to look at

    CD Players -- I like Denon sources personally

    But from the system standpoint above - I would go with what you said but with the subwoofer I suggest above, you get the SPL still and the extention.
    - Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.
