Simply gorgeous crossovers, it's no wonder they have dramatically raised the performance level of the speakers. Enjoy!!

Just happened to see this again. Great work to both you and Trey.

Just curious if you did the dowel brace?

  • Hey thanks! No I didn’t do the brace. May try that on a different pair if I happen to run across some. Right now I’m really enjoying my 7C’s as they are—Trey’s xovers have burned in nicely. You guys weren’t kidding about the imaging/soundstage

Nothing images like the cmr/path combo!

    Glad they are sounding great!

Has me wondering how much improvement I'd get going from PC Board Sonicaps / Mills XO to what you have there

Any more mods planned to these further down the road? Maybe I missed it. Did you do the Dynamat?

I see you replaced the tweeter magnet screws. Did you have to trim a little off the ends or did they seat correctly?

I have compared just about all of the resistors on the market.

Path audio has no equal, I am willing to make a stance on that.

There are some great sounding resistors available but none do what path audio does.

I concur. The path are a great resistor.

I eventually found the correct size screws, such that I didn’t have to trim anything.

No mods planned at the moment. Only thing I may do is try to track down a taller set of stands!
