Polk Signa S4 audio cuts out every now and then

Hello,

I recently purchased a Signa S4 and having a great time with it, amazing sound!. I just have this one irritating problem with it where the audio cuts out randomly on both Bluetooth and HDMI eARC connections. For the most part it works fine but happens at least once or twice everyday. I`ve tried swapping HDMI cables, played with the TV sound settings and even distancing the soundbar to my wireless router including setting the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz Wi-Fi to it`s own respective channels. None seems fix the issue. Btw, I have it hooked to my Samsung S95B QD-OLED TV if that helps!. Any help would be much appreciated.

Welcome! I'll forward your problem to a Polk soundbar specialist and post his reply. He may be a day or two to answer.

I have the same issue, even on my second sound bar now, still experiencing the issue.

It can occur once every couple of minutes, but then it will work fine continuously for a long period.

My TV is a Sony Bravia.

    Hello,
Welcome! Since it's happening with a second soundbar maybe the problem is not with it. Are you able to try another connecting cable or source device? What component provides the incoming signal?

I have the very same problem with a PS5 Pro hooked up to a Sony Bravia TV and with S4 connected through eArc. My guess for now is the included cable is not high speed or some eArc problems, will change the cable. Is there any FW update for the S4 that I can apply maybe?
