AMR130 Issues

My AMR 130's are exhibiting the same problems as most of the other people in the older thread.
They pop when plugged into any audio source or even NO audio source. They pop when plugged into multiple outlets around the house. The DIN pins are straight and fine.
I (also) received these speakers as a gift, and therefore have no sales receipt.
What can be done about this? Has anyone discovered the mysterious cause?
All of my home theatre equipment is Polk, my car audio is Polk, and this is the 1st time I've ever approached dissatisfied with a Polk product.
Thanks in advance,
Marv1n

Hello? Anyone?
Is this thing on?

Hello,
In all likelihood the problem is with the audio amplifiers that are in the sub-woofer. The best thing to do is to send the sub-woofer, keep the satellites and 12 Volt transformer, to Polk Audio, 2550 Britannia Blvd., Suite A, San Diego, CA. 92154. Please include a short note giving us your name, address, daytime telephone number and explain that you don't have a sales receipt. We'll examine the unit and determine the best course of action.
Regards, Ken
