Looking for an integrated amp with good bass

My daughter recently had me swap out an old Technics integrated for an equally old Denon AVR so I could connect to her TV. She's not happy with the sound, esp streaming from her phone. Like her father, she's a bit of a bass head and I think that's where the AVR falls short. Any suggestions for her with a budget probably around $500?
Yep, my name really is Bob.

And, what does she stream through, the avr?

Bass only thru 2 speakers. She streams using some sort of thingy connected to the amp. She probably would get better sound if the amp had a DAC/bluetooth, right?

Is this the monitor audio speakers?

I would try to find an Bluetooth dongle like e sinkin brand and then a parasound hca amp and then run Bluetooth out of the TV and use the TV volume

No amp will create deep bass from speakers that are undersized. Cost wise, it would probably be cheaper to get a used 12" sub with a built in class D amp (that is assuming the Denon AVR has a sub pre-out). If she is streaming via BT, there is no such thing as "better sound."
For rig details, see my profile. Nothing here anymore...

The Bluetooth dongle can also connect with her phone and she can use her phone as the volume control

Yep, those are the speakers. I don't follow how you get audio to the amp from the TV. I think she currenty has a bluetooth dongle and uses her phone for volume.

You need a Bluetooth dongle with rca left and right out. I run this arrangement for my office rig and it works perfect

That would probably save her some $$..or even give me a chance to gift her my HCA1000 and upgrade :)
I do like the Cambridge amps though!

The method of streaming could limit the bass reproduction. It's all about the source.

Did the Technics provide adequate bass but the Denon AVR doesn't? I have found that with hard to drive speakers, the amp does matter in the bass department. I had a Denon DRA-835R that could push RTA-11TL quite well but when I tried a Denon DRA-888 it sucked even though wattage ratings were similar. It has to do with the current drive capability of the amp.

Yea Stan, I'm sure that's the case. She liked the Technics sound. I would go with the dongle into the Technics amp but she won't get the TV shows thru her speakers.

Amazon has lots of cheap DACs with optical in and rca out for less that $50. That should get the audio from her tv to her speakers…

@muncybob I have one I’ll sell super cheap, along with an optical cable. $30 shipped for both.

Instead of an amp with Bluetooth and a dac, check out a wiim pro plus and use your current amp?
