    I must say, I was impressed with the VSA 55.

    A little light on the bass in that room, but the timbre and tone was right. Great front to back imaging too. Probably better in that aspect than my Magicos.

    A lot of people really liked the Acoras.

    The 55's were a little bit too polite for my taste, could be the Vitus amps. I much preferred the big passive VS in the big room.
    The Acoras were just too precise and a little cold (granite?).
    Overall had a great time. Earlier in the week went by to purchase a Syngergistic Research power cable that's perking up my amp.
    Soundstage is much improved.
