Polkaudio HTS12 subwoofer popping sound every minute or 2

I just recently purchased an HTS12 subwoofer
and i noticed even when nothing is playing and even when nothing is connected to the line input and LFE to the sub i am hearing a popping sound like its disconnecting and reconnecting like every minute or 2. Is this a problem with the amp?

Welcome! Is it possible there is something in your house that is switching on and off, could be a thermostat or part of house security system? Where do you have the subwoofer's AC plugged? Is the sound coming from the rear connection plate or from the woofer cone?
