Looking for atmos speakers.
Hey guys. I'm looking for speakers that matches well with my polk reserve aeakers for my new home theater that I'm building.
I have polk r600.r300.r200. Svs pb 1000 pro subwoofer.
I've tried rc80i. Artrim 6 outdoor speaker. I found them to be too bright and high, trebbly. And the artrim 6 speaker has too much dispersed sound. As in I'm struggling to tell where the sound is coming from.
What I want is something neutral, not bright or trebbly. And is mountable to the ceiling and walls. Eg bookshelf or height speakers.
I live in New Zealand. I don't have a strict budget per say but not keen on overspending.
Another thing to mention is that the driver size must be a minimum of 5.25 inches. I find the smaller driver sizes have a lack of good sound and is more trebbly and more tinny sounding.
Thanks for the ideas.

I've ended up with arendal 1961 heights for my atmos speakers and I demoed them for my surrounds at first and love them for what they are.
I wish I'd known they didn't go down to 80hz but at least they sound much better than the others I've tried. The only con about then but they are designed to be used with a subwoofer so I guess that doesn't matter as much as I wanted.

You can cross your subwoofer over at 150hz, 120hz etc and it will cover any extension those channel may bring.
Atmos speakers don't do much so I wouldn't sweat it at all. I also would have told you before you purchased the Arendal models to go with something flat response , even Sonance in ceilings would have been a good choice .Dan
My personal quest is to save to world of bad audio, one thread at a time.
