Hmmm, if I move them from my 2 channel rig to my HT rig, do I have to burn them in again?
I've only experienced reburn and touchiness on the Cross power. My Kimber wires seem pretty tolerant to movement.

Cable theory....burn in....physics....who gives a crap really. Pick your own battles, find your own data, and stick with it. Do you really think that the cable issue will be solved here at Club Polk?

Cable theory is like politics....one is left, one is right.

After reading this, I am glad I use Rat Shack speaker wire. My rear speaker wires run under the carpet across hallway openings on both the right and left sides. If I used that wire that gets traumatized, my surrounds would sound like crap all the time.

I sure hope you have a temperature controlled environment, so the length of your wires doesn't change:

Pianos are a stress and strain nightmare. Any change, even in temperature or humidity, will degrade their sound. A precisely tuned stereo system is similar.

Thanks for the consideration but there is nothing to apologize for. I am honored that you took the time to post a reply. I have read many of your posts and find them to be of significant value. TC
