This whole culture of giving everything a label and accepting it as a crutch in life versus adapting and overcoming is tiresome.
My girlfriend is 100% against labels in fact, she doesn't like me calling her my girlfriend and refuses to call me her boyfriend even though we've been monogamous for over a year now. She says it's too high school (she's 48).....so I asked her, how do we refer to one another, she said, I like partner, to which I replied, but I'm not g a y......

Funny enough, I've actually had some good lumber runs at HD recently.
I was grabbing some 2x4's a few weeks ago, for our kitchen remodel. I told my wife I was getting 10 of them. I think it was around the 14th or 15th 2x4 that I put on the cart that my wife asked why I was getting so many.
I informed her that I was hitting gold here, and I'm grabbing extra!
Same thing with some 2x6's last week. -
