I've left the company, but still love the brand

Hey everyone, I'm here with some bittersweet news. I left Polk and Definitive Technology this week to pursue other opportunities. I thought it was important to leave a note for you here to say goodbye. Over the years, many of you have contacted me when you've needed help, and unfortunately I will not be on the inside anymore to pull strings and to reach out to people to assist you. I just didn't want anyone to be left hanging, this account is tied to my Sound United email address and will no longer get a notification if I am tagged or messaged here.
I am not leaving with hard feelings. It had been a dream of mine to work for Polk. My first peak musical experience occurred when I was 7 or 8 when my stepfather brought home a pair of Polk speakers. I feel like I've left the brand better than when I found it, learned a lot and made some great friends.
I tend to keep my personal and professional life separate, so most of you probably don't realize that I am not just a brand director, I'm also an artist. Late last year, I signed with an international gallery and recently, my artwork went on sale in 22 different locations around the world. I feel that life has given me my shot and I need to take it.
If you're curious and would like to see my art and stay connected with my creative side, I'd like to invite you to follow me on Instagram.
Thank you for all your support and help with the things I worked with you on. Polkies are the heart of the brand. I may no longer be a Polk employee, but I will always be a Polkie.
Best regards,
Carl Jacobson

Ah, bummer Carl!
As others have said, I'd also like to thank you for all you did for us and for Polk. I know we gave you a good razzing in the beginning, mostly over the website stuff, and you were always just a great sport dealing with us knuckle-heeds.
I'm sure the responses and contributions of support and reflection here on your thread give you a good sense for how we all feel.
Gonna miss your posts and contributions!
That's fantastic about your art! Congratulations on gaining recognition, and best wishes for you on this next chapter and for the future!

Well, Carl, you done did good while you were here, straight up 👍
I'm sure you'll do well in the art world, no worries.
One question, if I may:
Do you do any work with velvet paintings ? Something with dogs engaged in a game of cards ?
Just a thought.
In any event enjoy your new endeavor and success 👍
NOTE: the Statute of Limitations has run out for most of us so don't bother with any post partum lawsuits.🤗

I typed a reply but apparently somehow failed to post it yesterday.
