@polkguy1994 your post(s) should have gone in this thread: https://forum.polkaudio.com/discussion/134423/vintage-monitor-and-sda-speaker-deals/p1

This is someone's personal FS thread, not a generic one. Apologize.

Apology accepted, we can move on to trying to find these speakers a good home.

Someone buy these before I change my mind!

I’d be willing to meet up somewhere to get these sold. I’d like to get them sold this week before we put our house on the market. Otherwise, I’ll have to try to sell them locally or put them in storage which I’d rather not do…

I again make apologies to you for the posting on your item for sale post, all in all it was very bad taste after reading the entire string of communications. Your 1.2TL are very nice and if things didn't evolve to where they have for me recently I would take you up on that meet halfway purchase deliver offer. Long story, not short! I started out ten plus years ago buying home stereo speakers after I bought a B&K AVR307, upgrading from a Marantz receiver. So I purchased a pair of RT55, a CS400, FX500 and a Modified PSW1000. I found a brand new in box set of RT20p and a second set from a guy in Ohio. It get's even nuttier, I am sure with the screw up posting on your FS and this rambling as to why i am not jumping on your TL's, has me certified as a ding dong! However, it is a good story and worth telling and I believe anyone would agree that has fell into the Polk Rabbit hole. I went to Ohio to pick up a second pair of RT20p, and when I got there the guy selling them takes me to a second room and informs me he had two pairs of RT2000p in boxes as his friend had agreed to buy them and was not able to do so, well I ran to the credit union and picked up all three sets. I ended up selling both pairs of the RT20P and got the four RT2000p's free. Let's fast forward to last year August up until today as you are reading this post now. I picked up a Rotel five channel 200 per, a Rotel two channel 380 per, a Classes SSP800, two JL Audio Fathom f113 13.5, (Brand new in boxes FX1000 set) a complete set of RT5000, a complete SRT set (upper/lowers/SRT center channel/a controller w/remote/a originl manual with all the boxes), three more pairs of FX/LS, (sold the AVR307) and replaced it with a (brand new old stock in box B&K AVR507) a second SRT Center Channel. So this is only half of the story and if you want to know more and understand it, your going to have to think outside the box, here it goes. a scond pair of RT3000p, a third pair of RT2000p, a single PSW1200, a third SRT Center Channel, three more SRT Controllers w/remotes, two more sets of SRT uppers/lowers, a manual, a Decibel Sound Meter, a CS350 and a whole lof of new factory in box replacement parts from speakers/subs/tweeters and bezels. I am now neck deep in my latest stereo project. I am still working it all out and will be for the next year or more, but no one ever said a Polk Audio fan had to be sane!

I am looking for SRT Rears, seeking any information on the SRT history details to learn about this product!jjdas75rryoz.jpegw0n3asrf6chn.jpeg

Its sure a tough decision to decide between 2.3s and 1.2s and have to part with a pair. Just went through that myself. GLWTS!

Thank you. The 2.3’s still need to be modded and I have collected a lot of parts to do that. The main reason I’m keeping them is because my father bought them new back in 1989 and I want to pass them onto my kids some day. So, the 1.2’s will go if someone buys them.

Just a heads up on these. I’ll be posting them locally at a higher price because I need to move them, the Polk deal still stands here however

That gives you plenty to look forward to! The 2.3s sound fantastic when fully modded.

Yes I’m sure they do. I’ve got Larry rings to install, RDOs are already in there, just have to figure out what components to get and someone to do it. I have a set of gimpods boards I’ve been hoarding for years.

The sellers market bites right now. It seems as if nothing is moving. Might want to store them until market conditions approve.

Yes, I agree that it’s not a great market right now. I’d like someone who can appreciate them here to have a chance to buy them, but maybe I’m supposed to keep them, we shall see.

Went through something similar with my 15s last fall. Ended up keeping them. Best decision, ever.

Good luck with your move. Always a stressful time.

Thank you, I’m leaving this one up to God. I’m thinking I don’t need them and we could certainly use the money elsewhere but maybe He’s got a plan I don’t know about, you never know!

True, but they aren’t big enough to fit me, or anyone in my family lengthwise.

Just got to make sure they get sealed back up properly so you dont lose sound quality.
