@mantis I detailed my car today, I used this spray wax: https://www.chemicalguys.com/blazin-banana-spray-wax/blazin-banana-spray-wax.html
Nice shine and reflections! Too bad it has to live outside instead of in a garage.

Chemical Guys makes good all around affordable products. Spray wax is good for a garage car, you should consider a stronger protection or make sure you use it after each wash to build on your protection scheme. Looks great nice looking car.Dan

I'm wondering how easy is it to wipe it off? Very few things in life I hate more than waxing a vehicle and most especially my bike. If the treatment doesn't wipe off easy and leave a great shine it won't happen here. Ease of removal is one of the main reasons I like the ibiz. But I do keep an eye open for something easier-better-more durable.

All the ceramic/graphene wax/polish I've used is extremely easy to remove. It is nothing like the old carnauba wax that takes 6 elbows to remove.

Great point and thanks. My last car was ceramic coated using Ceramic Pro. Will likely get this one paint corrected and coated at some point. For now the spray wax has been holding up ok, but I've been applying it after every wash/detail which has been fine since it's so easy and fast to use.motorstereo wrote: »I'm wondering how easy is it to wipe it off? This CG one is extraordinarily easy to use. Just mist on a section/panel, spread it around evenly with a microfiber towel, then flip the towel to a different section and wipe/buff it off. Comes up very easily and leaves a nice reflective coating. -
What about removing insect splatters on the plastic front end? Abrasive pad and . . . . . ? Is there a good bug remover? I have some off the shelf Turtle Wax cleaner or something.Carl
