Focal Aria K2 926

Hello everyone,
What do you guys think about the Aria K2 926 main channel speakers? I was thinking these might be a nice upgrade from my Chorus 826V's from years ago. I went and listened to the K2's and man without mine side by side I think they are an upgrade.

They have a matching center but for surrounds I would use the 301's as I think that would be a hell of a surround speaker and matching to boot.

Atmos I probably will swap out my Atmos speakers for Focal's as well inciting points and direct firing.

I haven’t heard the K2 926 but I had the standard 926 for a few years. No complaints. Great performing speaker for the price. Those K2’s at that price is a no brainer, should be a good step up from the standard 926 and your Chorus.

The other side of me says wait until you can get into a Kanta. You can find used Kanta 2s in the 5k range if you are diligent and the step up from Aria to Kanta is huge yet again. If you think the K2 is an endgame piece, go for it, otherwise I may suggest you save a few more Pennys and get into some Kantas

Make this guy an offer, they've been sitting in his warehouse for years.

I guess this is the best picture he can manage to take. Guaranteed they don't look like this anymore and are probably dusty af by this point.

Haha... Just think if you actually make an offer he may send you photos that actually show their condition!

Side note, I think those came from the same rig that used his 5 Mark Levinson 33 monoblocks

I guarantee you that system was amazing!!!

Warehouse is also in Florida a block from the water, so possible heat/moisture/saltwater air exposure as well.

You are NOT helping at all...

i'd be leary of anything from High Performance Stereo.....I've dealt with them twice and not been super satisfied.
