Does anyone have one of these for a Center Channel stand (Riser)? I would like to raise my center about 4 inches and the being able to adjust the cant up or down, I would tilt it up . They seem well built but pricey for what you get. Anyone using one of these?

I don't have it for a center, but I have one for a sub. I've never quite understood how these are supposed to isolate. They're pretty rigid, and seem like they'd couple.

Have you considered trying Sound Addicted products? They've got a bunch of different acoustic foam pads that you can orient in different configurations to control angle.

    What's your placement surface?

I've been curious to test how these Isoacoustics work on hard surfaces, like cabinets or desktops. Wondering whether they isolate or transfer energy. The foam pads don't transfer anything.

I think Sound Addicted makes some other isolating products they make, too, Sorbothane based, I think? @Emlyn?

Thanks for the info I got the Auralex ones instead these should do what I need which is isolate and you can tilt them to point down or up at up to a +8 level only up to +6 on the Isoacoustics, plus the cash saved is a plus Thanks again for the advice its appreciated. Placement surface is flat on a entertainment center I put together for the secondary HT rig.

Sound Addicted mainly use a relatively hard form of silicone rubber rather than sorbothane for their isolation feet.
